Today I’m going to drop some knowledge bombs for you regarding the Tasc Performance Carrollton Long Sleeve T-Shirt.
This is one of my favorite bamboo shirts for every season. I own one in almost every color. It’s super soft, stretchy, and the fit is just right around the arms - if you have muscle definition, it definitely can be seen through this long sleeved shirt.
In the summer, this shirt is great to protect your skin (and tattoos if you have them) from the sun, and the breathability makes it feel like you’re not even wearing a long sleeved shirt.
During the mild seasons of fall and spring, it’s great on its own to give you that extra little bit of warmth. In winter I like to wear it as an undershirt under a thick sweater when it’s really cold out - especially under something like wool that’s super itchy. It can provide a nice barrier for that.
This long sleeved shirt is designed for performance at the gym or hiking, and it’s anti-fungal properties are certainly beneficial for that. Yet, it’s also fantastic for a business casual look at the office or a night out on the town.
The blend is 55% Organic Cotton, 40% Viscose Derived From Bamboo, 5% Lycra. I’d personally prefer a higher ratio of Bamboo in the blend, but nonetheless, Tasc did a great job with this shirt.
For the ladies, Tasc also has a performance long sleeved shirt called the Nola II that’s perfect for the gym or yoga studio as well.
